Our Land is a creative intervention in the form of walking, listening and gardening. Part protest, part possession, part planting.
Whose land is this? Our Land explores ideas of belonging, ownership and a collective action, seeking to reclaim and make space. What happens when people whose histories, identities and experiences have not yet been etched request a place on your land.
Please choose a strawberry plant and scroll down to select a recording to listen to while you walk.
The voice is from someone who does not live here.
The route will be clearly marked, take your time.
We invite you to think about you and the ground you walk upon, where do you feel at home, can land belong to anybody, can anybody belong to a land?
At the end of the walk you can decide to plant it in the ground and claim space for someone you have never met.
