The Scene by the Sea

2025 marks the tenth anniversary of the creation of The Thames Group of Artists and to celebrate, the Group is holding a five month long exhibition at the Beecroft Art Gallery, Southend.  Following the success of its previous shows, the TS Eliot inspired ‘Sweet Thames Run Softly’ pop up exhibition and the Ian Dury inspired ‘All Kinds of Naughty’ touring exhibition that travelled to venues across London and the South East, all the 'Scene by the Sea' work has been inspired by a colourful double-sided fold-out, give away map created by Jules Balme; native author and musician Will Birch, and artist and former Clash right-hand man, Kosmo Vinyl.

The Thames Group of Artists Is a collective of painters, sculptors, ceramicists, 3D mixed media artists, photographers, writers, performers, film makers and more, all with a link to the River Thames.
