I am From is a short experimental film reflecting and embodying the overlaying of events that have taken place on the estuary of the Thames. Original poetry, dance and music become engulfed into a timeless world, where the human realigns its self with nature. How else can we reconcile our past transgressions towards each other and the planet? 

Exploring themes of migration, race politics, climate change, imperialism, spirituality and nature, 'I am From' is a time capsule travelling through the history of a geographic, historical landmark that is also a well kept secret. Revealing these secrets in an abstract, visual audible film, 'I am From' intends to enlighten and transport the viewer from the beginning to the end, to unknown spaces of our imagination. Solidifying the most concrete truth of our life, the fact we exist.
