Pryle Behrman
Dr Pryle Behrman, an artist, curator and academic whose practice explores the interplay between art, place and time.
He teaches art and design at USP College in Essex and initiated the Library of Lost Sounds in 2025, a collaboration between artists, researchers and scientists who aim to recreate sounds of importance as they were felt through the whole body, not only how they might have been heard.
He was the curator of Encounters and the Art Projects section of London Art Fair from 2004 to 2026, and gained a PhD from University of Westminster centred on his curatorial practice. Amongst other topics, Pryle has written about the art market, art curation and international biennales for national newspapers and international art magazines.
